There were 50 gazillion homebrew groups on other social media platforms but none on bablahblah...so I decided to make one.
Homebrewers, both new and veteran, are welcome to discuss brew at home topics, techniques, news, equipment, recipes, ingredients...you get the picture.
I really do not have a lot of time to administrate what happens as I work a lot. I'm hoping this'll be a friendly place where people can come to discuss homebrewing and ask for advice or help.
No politics, no nudity, no advertisements or spam, no BS, no jerks...just beer.
Maybe some jokes.
Keep it clean and friendly.

Thanks. Other than the electric brew kettle, everything was found on Craigslist or FB Marketplace for cheap.

Don't think I'll be brewing fir a while. Moved my brewery to the garage and now it's -2 degrees.
Might have to brew some smaller batches in the house.

So it's been a little while. Sorry about that. Between my two jobs, haven't had a lot of time to brew.

A buddy of mine has a cherry tree. I picked some and am going to brew a cherry/chocolate stout. Picked, pitted, and pureed. Now in the freezer and waiting for brew day.

Woo! What a bargain. Picked this up for $8! Probably will not use it for brewing but really wanted it for a conical fermenter for my small batch brews. Maybe as a secondary?

It's only about 7% and a one gallon batch doesn't make enough for that.
