Everything went straight to hell.I walk into work and the soda fountains have a meltdown. The second problem that comes along is that gas pump #1 decides it was going to give everyone fits. I put up a sign there and come to find out that an idiot tore it off and decided to use the pump anyway. Third problem of the night - the credit/debit machines decided they wanted to be problem number three. Want to know what problem four is? Have no idea? We have no fucking air conditioner at work. The damn thing blows out hot air. So both myself and my coworker were drenched in sweat for the past two days and they won't be fixing it until Tuesday. The only good thing out of this day was the fact Tom decided that since Chris (the second assistant of the store) believes he is going to be temporary, he is going to make sure I learn absolutely everything from reporting problems in the store to knowing how to make sure audits are done on the handheld. I have the lottery down and I also have the vendors' portion of the handheld, plus I know how to stock resets seeing I had no prior training on that. >> By the way, I am FINALLY getting a morning shift. GOOO ME! On top of that, I have taken the rookie under my wings and have started teaching him everything that 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm has to do because I want him to prepared for that should it come. Seriously, I need a vacation.
