It's a big deal to them because they bring in tourist dollars but like you said, they're noisy and will go on the warpath if you get too close. Bob I’ve approached our sand hill cranes and they just stand there and look at you like “what?” It’s funny when the trash trucks come through and kinda force their arrogant butts off the road. Those birds get quite noisy
