I really can relate to this. I so wanted to hug a moose, or a deer, chipmunks, etc.

Eva Galli ME TOO!! All of them. I even love reptiles and still catch lizards ….usually by hand but I DO have a net for catching them too 🤣

I have a friend who, when she graduated hs, moved to Alaska with her boyfriend.
She got up one morning to go to work and standing there on the porch completely blocking her way was a moose. Needless to say, she freaked out, called work, and they told her to come in when it left.

Wally Winslett That same thing happened to a friend of ours. He was on vacation but still…the moose was HUGE and just standing at the front door 🤣

Wally Winslett the moose we had seen was 7 feet, at the shoulder. So it had to have been another foot taller with the rack. It was going to the neighbors' yard, and trying to mate with the horses there.

Not my place by my aunt’s who lives in a condo near me. In my town they are a common sight. Not too afraid of humans nor vehicles.
