Yes it is true, You do not have to navigate to a group before you can post to a group. For instance. If you want to post something to Raunchy Memes, you do not have to go to the group first. You can do it from the main feed. This is a huge time saver.

Oh one ore thing, make sure you refresh the feed once you post this way as it does not show what group you posted to until you refresh.
