Some of you might remember the “Toledo Torch”. The ancestor to the barricade flasher. The one here can classified as an antique, since I bought it in the early ‘80s, use two 6V spring batteries, and has two modes: flashing and off. Modern ones use 2x D battery and can be flashing or steady burn. I have a Toledo replica and another one that I do not burn. orchard farms still use simular tourches to this day when there is a chance of freezing weather to keep the crops from freezing
