PSA #134: If you have your roof redone make sure they clean up all the nails removed. These are the style that were taken from my house. Almost all that I found were sticking straight up and it is only by the Grace of God that no one has stepped on any. I have found close to 100 and keep finding them.

I remember, at 8 years old, running around barefooted in the yard and stepping on a furniture tack.
There's no way to describe the pain of your mom trying to pull it out of your foot with a pair of pliers and the pliers keep slipping of cause she can't get a good grip on the tack.
