Pepperoni Pizza Grilled CheeseIngredients:4 slices of bread (white or your choice)8 slices of pepperoni1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese2 tablespoons marinara or pizza sauce2 tablespoons butter, softened1 teaspoon dried oregano1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)Directions:Prepare the Bread: Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread. This will be the side that crisps up in the pan.Assemble the Sandwich: On the non-buttered side of two slices of bread, spread 1 tablespoon of marinara sauce each. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the marinara. Layer 4 slices of pepperoni on each sandwich. Sprinkle with a pinch of oregano and garlic powder (if using). Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and close the sandwiches with the other slices of bread, butter side facing out.Cook the Sandwiches: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
